Photographs demonstrate all this things you can do with a rock such as skipping and making rings in the water. This is an excellent example of literary/ narrative non-fiction. It is also the peaceful story of actively investigating rocks.
This book will fill kids with ideas of things to do with rocks, and might possibly make them want to learn even more about rocks and other related sciences. It makes a good addition to a lesson on soil, rocks, and minerals. It is definitely a hit for the outdoors type.

My 5 year old twins loved this book. Now we collect rocks whenever we go walking and try to classify what type of rock it is. Sweet, thoughtful, and perfect for the youngster interested in nature. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
