This is the best alarm app I have come across yet, and l have even paid for the 5ive one! It provides HD weather forcast, a selection of music to wake up/sleep with, and you can sync it with your iPod. It also comes with system sleep and alarm sounds. Tricky to learn at first, but I've got the hang of it. I can't believe it was free! Totally satisfied.
5 stars, just so you know. My nook likes to delete my ratings...
If I were to improve it, I would...
Add a weekly forcast
Let songs from your iTunes or mog account wake you up
Add a bit of local news
Create playlists and stream live radio...doesn't an iHome do that (with an ipod)?
Use images from our gallery for backgrounds
This app is already PERFECT, but to make it more PERFECT, it would be my favorite app!

This is an AWESOME app!!! I highly reccomend it to anybody who has a hard time waking up! I have a hard time waking up for school, but this app has helped!

I don't know what happened. The first day I had it and it worked fine. But then the next day it got stuck repeating the "wake up" sound and playing the alarm. It didn't pop open, and whenever I tried to open it, it would completely lock up on a black screen.
I had to restart my Nook twice because of this thing not shutting off.

Once you learn some of it's quirks this is actually a pretty nice app, especially since it' s a freebie. To set an alarm you have to hit the alarm picture at the top then hit the little icon at the bottom of the screen that looks like three lines and then it should pop up a plus sign and say add alarm. If you want to sleep to one of their sounds you have to finish setting your alarm and then go back to the home page and slide the bedtime button, then the sound will start and play for as long as you set your sleep timer. Also be aware that if you set your bedtime dimmer too low your screen may go dark and you won't be able to see anything. In order to fix it I had to power my nook off, restart it and archive the app, and after I unarchived the app it was reset and the problem cleared up. After that I didn't adjust the dimmer again. The screen will automatically fall asleep on it's own after a certain amount of time and there's less hassle that way. One more thing, any type of app that runs on it's own for a period of time is going to drain your battery. Whenever I use these "overnight" apps like this alarm or my white noise app I leave my nook on the charger. By the time I go to bed the battery is usually at the point where it needs to be charged anyway and that way I can use what I need to at night but when I wake up in the morning my nook battery is at 100% and ready to go during the day.

This app was awesome at first. Then it started depleting my battery life. Later, when i would try and enter the app, my nook would then shut of completely. I would try and turn on my nook, but then it would make the locking noise repeatingly. I had to reset my nook and it still wouldn't work. If i were you, whoever you are, i WOULD NOT get the app. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!! NO!!!! Find another app, or just buy a flippin alarm clock. Don't even try to get an alarm clock app for your nook. NO. Don't even listen to the other reviews. Don't do it. But do what you want....just don't be upset when your nook gets jacked up, and your battery life goes down faster then you read your favorite books.

I set alarms on it for the morning. After a while, i realized tht my nook was losing it bettery a lot. When i didnt turn the app off it stayed on until it was turned off, making my nook die. Dont get it unless ull remember to turn it off. I like how it tells the weather though.

The menu button is located at bottom of screen next to your battery/wifi icon. Press and hold the icon that looks like a ruled paper. Hope it works for you

It looks good, but where the heck is "the menu button"????? I pressed my nook button, didnt work. Pressed the first tab on the top, well what do you know.. didnt work!!!?!? soo i guess i cant do any alarms because the stupid app doesnt tell you where the menu button is

Ive read the reviews and everyone (most) say its good but when i open it, it turns my screen black and then it seems as if all is frozen for a few seconds because i click the main button and nothing happens. I also click the power button and it wont turn it off. Have to click it at least 4 times for it to ACTUALLY turn off. Maybe fix this problem because it causes my nook to crash and freeze.

This app is just horibble. I cant use it because it has no instructions and that just made me confused. I have no idea how to use it because it disent tell me how to.

I like the Sleep To sound options especially the ocean and wind chime sounds. The Wake To music choices are varied but i didnt care for the selection. I wish there was an option to wake to more calming sounds, like the Sleep To sounds. The app does allow you to set several alarms which is convenient. The feature that keeps track of hours slept probably won't be used by most because it is too easy to forget to slide the Wake To tab over in the a.m. so the average hours slept calculation won't be accurate. Getting the nap feature to work wasn't intuitive--you have to double click to activate it--but it's been used quite a bit.
