Meet the Author

Karmel H. Newell received her master’s degree from the University of Utah. She is the author or coauthor of several books for children and families, including Come, Follow Me; The Trap; A Christmas Treasury for Latter-day Saint Families; and I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day. She and her husband, Lloyd D. Newell, are the parents of four children and reside in Alpine, Utah.; Brian Call studied illustration at Ricks College and Brigham Young University. A popular illustrator of children’s books, his published works include White Shirts, Where Do Babies Come From? and Sarah’s Cloud. He and his wife, Michelle, live in Idaho Falls with their four children.
