I'm Back

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Steve Leggett
For his third album, I'm Back, the first for Black Smoke Music International, and his first in eight years, gospel singer, organist, and choir director Lonnie Hunter switches gears just a bit from contemporary praise & worship by delivering something closer to traditional gospel, highlighted by his hand-picked choir, Structure. The result, especially in tracks like the lead single and title tune "I'm Back" and his "Wade in the Water" medley, refreshingly combines a crisp, contemporary sound with a traditional feel.
