Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Patricia Williamson
Geronimo Stilton is a mouse who runs a local paper in Mouse City. His dream is to write adventure stories until one day he gets stuck in the elevator and finds out what a a coward he really is. But one day, his friend Bruce Hyena decides to make him a Supermouse! Bruce takes Geronimo on an adventure from the desert to the jungle to the ice caps to the caves, around and back again to teach him survival skills. Will Geronimo be up to the challenge? The book has great clues and a simple story line with age-appropriate vocabulary. Within each of the chapters there is factual information for the child to get a sense of the places where Geronimo tests himself. The illustrations help to move the story forward and within the text some of the words are highlighted, making them stand out for the reader. Book 43 in the "Geronimo Stilton" series. Mice can't write.DUH!!!!!

I used to like these books, but now i want to know the actual writer. I know it isn't a mouse, because mice can't write they are not that smart. I'm not critisising mice or the books, mice can't write, and the books are kind of telling lies to children.
