Meet the Author

Anton de Gruchy and his wife Esther studied at Miracle Bible School in Cape Town, South Africa from 1997-2000. After graduating Esther joined the staff of Harvester Reformational Church which runs the Bible School doing administrative work and teaching at the bible school. I loved the style in which Anton de Gruchy wrote his book. While reading, one almost feels as though they have traveled back in time. I quote "Listen carefully and He will call you by name" because it is the last sentence in a very warm and powerful paragraph that concludes Mary at the tomb.

I couldn't hardly put this book down once I started. There are so many great insights into our spiritual lives. I have been a christian now for 38 years and this book was so inspritual and brought various parts of scripture to new life. I would highly recommend it to anyone. It's a great faith builder.

Do you have the courage to face God? Do you have what it takes to have integrity? Are you afraid that if you don't believe all the religious dogma and propaganda that God will send you to hell? If this feels true to you, face the fact that if there truly is a God, this God will expect you to be true to yourself first. You decide for yourself. Have the courage to know yourself. Find your own truth! No one can do that for you. Only after you have concurred your fears will you know yourself and become able to know God. You must know God before you can honestly love God.
