Whenever magazine publisher Shay Hilton saw District Attorney Braxton Steele in the media, his sinful sexiness stirred up longing that she didn't even know she could feel. After all, her ex-fiance's cruel drama had hardened her heart. But when she meets the gorgeous lawyer, their encounter is sexually tense and unforgettable. That is, until, Shay's ex is murdered in her penthouse. She becomes a suspect. Braxton is the prosecutor.
When a snowstorm traps Shay in Braxton's mansion, he tries to resist his hot blooded urges to connect with the beautiful murder suspect in ways that have nothing to do with the law. Feeling something for Shay that he has never felt before, Braxton is tempted to compromise his position and succumb to the red-heat between them. Will he offer his desirable house guest just a bed for the night, or something much more? And will he protect her . . . when a killer comes after her?

This is twisted
I found this book really exciting. I could not wait to find out what happen next, it had me trying to guess who really did the crime. It was a great mixture of romance and mystery all rolled up with a bottle of steamy scenes. I am going to buy some more of her books now. Love it.....
I enjoyed some of the story. But it just went on and on, and then "poof" everything was thrown in at the end. The story had potential, but it just had something missing in it for me. I skipped numerous pages to get to a "good part"and I really tried to like the book. However, it came up short for me. It appeared to be written by a more amateur writer than a seasoned one.
I MUST SAY THAT IMAGES OF ECSTASY IS PHENOMENAL. I READ WITH ANTICIPATION, READY TO KNOW WHAT WAS COMING NEXT. HER USE OF WORDS WHEN SHE DESCRIBED PLACES PEOPLE AND EVENTS REALLY MADE ME FEEL AS THOUGH I WERE ONE OF THE CHARACTER. PERSONALLY I IMAGINED MY SELF AS SHAY HILTON. I COULD RELATE TO SHAY'S PAIN CAUSED BY AN ARROGANT, SELF RIGHTEOUS MARCUS. GOING THROUGH THE ROUGH TIMES AND COMING OUT SMOOTH AND POLISHED ESPECIALLY IN THE END. BRAXTON STEELE COULD COME TO LIFE ANY DAY AND POLISH ME. TO MS. LOURE BUSSEY, GREAT JOB. KEEP THEM COMING
This was the first book that I read by Loure Bussey. I am on the internet now to purchase some of her other books. Images of Ecstasy was a heart racing page turner. I could not wait to turn the page, even though I was afraid of what would happen next. This book was interesting from the first page to the last. I read it in three days. I am generally a slow reader, but I could not stop reading this book. I have recommended reading this book to several people. It was outstanding!
