Whether you are an artist or just like to look, this magazine is great! Digital sub. is definitely better than newstand (but you don't get the dvd).

This is only worth reading if you have a nook color, preferably an HD+. If you try to read it using the desktop application a lot of the art gets cut out. But if you've got the HD+ it's a wonderful magazine at the fraction of the physical newsstand cost.

I haven't ever gotten one of the DVD's, but the digital subscription is great! Awesome art and tutorials well worth $5 a month. Many workshops and galleries are available on their website and youtube. I'll be buying more from them!

In trying the digital edition, I was expecting pdf scans of the magazine as it comes in physical form. That is not the case. And you don't get the dvd, as others have said. Still an amazing magazine! But an art magazine with little art? It's worth having the glossy pages in your hands.
