Meet the Author

Quentin Carter is a 30-year-old native of Kansas City, Missouri. Currently, Quentin is serving a 10 year sentence in federal prison under the harsh crack cocaine law. It was while in prison that Quentin felt inspired to write. His strong characters often reflect his own experience on the streets, and he is an inspiration to other inmates, as well as those on the outside. He is scheduled to be released in 2008. Each of Quentin's titles, Hoodwinked, In Cahootz, Contagious and Amongst Thieves have topped bestseller lists. Stained Cotton is Quentin's fifth novel with Triple Crown, and perhaps the most highly anticipated. In the future, Quentin hopes to grow as an author and become a writer of multiple genres.

    A GOOD BOOK (token787)

This book was a good read, but at the beginning it starts out real slow and towards the middle it start to increase in speed, some of the characters will have you laughing but toward the end it will have u crying. I wish the author would of went back and talked about how tukey betrayed her boyfriend keith, so the reader can understand and get some insight why tukey is like she is and get a little insight of what happened. All in all it's a good read.
