About the Author

In response to the popularity of Fox's Charlie Chan and Mr. Moto movie series, Monogram decided to start a series of their own that featured an Asian Detective. So they used Hugh Wiley's Detective James Lee Wong character for their Mr Wong series of movies that starred BORIS KARLOFF in the lead role for the first 4 movies and Keye Luke (#1 Son in the Charlie Chan movies) as Mr Wong in the final movie.
