Angelo was raised with a strong belief in the afterlife and the dreams of Hope don't go unnoticed. With the help of his partner, Bobby, he aims to catch the killer before he strikes again. However, a cold case causes Angelo's past to merge with Hope's case.

Will he keep his feelings at bay to find the murderer? Or will it be too late?

This book would fit into many different categories and that is what I liked the most. It is paranormal, yet it is a mystery with a hint of a lost love story. I enjoyed reading this from the beginning to the end. I especially liked that it was a quick read. Sometimes writers get stuck on filling the pages with words, and the story gets lost; not the case here. It seems the author knew where her story was headed and took us to the final destination, although there were many twists and turns along the way. Well written and thought out.

This is a very unusual but interesting book about a murder of a young lady and a police officer who is damaged in his own way. Hope is being stalked and when her stalker gets her the result is murder. Detective Antonio Baldoni is a Detroit cop who lost the love of his life four years ago the day before his wedding. He sort of believes in the afterlife, but he's not so sure. When he starts investigating Hope's murder he starts having strange dreams about Hope. Suddenly he realizes Hope is visiting him in his dreams but she can't remember who killed her. What follows is a really interesting look into a police investigation and the after life. I really enjoyed this book and hope the author will write more about Antonio and his style of investigation with the help of spirits. I couldnt put this book down, I read it in one sitting.I just had to know what was going to happen next. Had me guessing who the murderer was to the very end, bravo Ms. Mullins. Definitely a 5 star rating and I definitely recommend this book to all who like murder and/or paranormal.
