Evie Snow, a lone Private Investigator who happens to be a psychic (and has never lost trail of a missing child since she put up her own business) suddenly finds herself on paths with Hunter Vale, the man who's marked her past with bitterness after he's betrayed her with another woman before their romance took off.

Hunter's little niece is missing and he badly needs Evie's help. Evie, on the other hand, knew she would try to find the child even before she learned who she was. She confronts the familiar painful feelings of his past betrayal but she is forced to work with him to save little Christa and bring her home to her devastated parents for Christmas, or before it is too late.

But to her utter dismay, the sexual tension and incredible awareness she feels towards him the moment he appears in her doorway and back to her life again can only mean one thing—he's still the only man who can get through her tough facade, and can very well still be the only man who can own her heart.

As they rush to save Christa, they will face the dangerous psychopath who's been kidnapping and killing children—a first among many. This is the exciting prequel to the serialized short story, Eve Snow Psychic P.I Series.

Evie launched herself at him, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him on his open mouth.

Hunter was clearly taken aback for a moment but was soon enthusiastically giving back, opening his mouth further to let her assault him with her lips and tongue.

As their lips slid against each other and their tongues danced the rhythmic dance of foreplay, he lifted her to his lap and she straddled him as he kept kissing her deeply and passionately. She raked her hands through those unruly blonde curls of his while she kissed him back. Hunter slid his hands under her sweater and cupped her perky little breasts.

She threw her head back and she moaned...

Meet the Author

The moment Sandra Ross held her first romance novel when she was ten, she knew she was going to write romance. At thirty now, a prolific reader and a freelance writer, she's since then expanded her preferences from just romance to romance with a dash of now trending sub-genres—paranormal , fantasy, sci-fi even, and erotica. She loves challenging herself and would write on a dare. On a normal day, she would be found in her herb garden collecting spices for her kitchen or ingredients for her potions; in her huge eclectic Provencal kitchen with the big modern oven cooking pots and pans of food for her family of one husband and three kids (an ardent daughter and two boisterous sons) that'll probably last for weeks; in her library with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and an e-reader in her hands as she reads the latest short story erotic hit; or scribbling pages upon pages of different erotic lifestyles, searching for the one that feels like it was inspired by just the right mix of passion, storyline, and sex. She loves going crazy on weekend nights with the hubby. Aside from these activities, the rest of the time she'd be found in front of her laptop typing the latest Sandra Ross concoction for her readers.

Is the pain should not lead to a second chance to someone to for

Is the pain should not lead to a second chance to someone to forgive? Is every other woman does not it? And what would be the result that the mistake will not be repeated ever?! Is the man who committed adultery will not reach to do it once again, or perhaps in his psyche will affect pain caused kidnapped child?!
Are any story of this kind has a romantic ending?! Who would not wish to a happy ending with all the pleasures of this earthly world! Author of this novel shows us the dark side, but with a bright finish. How can one man wrong, and the other to forgive. Unfortunately, in everyday life it is the greatest pain a man can make another person. Not always so easy to come to a romantic end, not always so easy to forgive. Why not forgive such a man. Is the thought will not eat inside every day that he or she lied?! In such a reality in my opinion there is no happy ending, no matter the pain inflicted on the lost child can fix! Error! Once made a mistake are always a mistake and this mistake any normal person would not be able to forgive and overlook!  Whether it's Christmas or not, the pain will always remain pain!
This book shows the story of Evie Snow, psychic private observe. She’s being hired to seem into the vanishing of Clarissa - small girl. It's just like any other case she's hired - taken not including for one thing. Hunter!
Man who Evie loved true up and doing horrible betrayal with another woman. She was unable to forgive and forget him. But they're having job together- to save Clarissa. And that just might lead them even closer together.
Beautiful book, beautiful item that might be a part of all of us in our imagination, but if I could every one to succumb to forgive a lie and forget as never existed and to have a happy ending!?
I recommend you read the book and every individual to solve their own terms. I could not forgive! And you?! Read the book and give comment!

At 30 years old, Sandra Ross has made a name for herself in the romance genre.  The books a well crafted with exquisite details.  Her books are written to the point that you no longer just read the book, but you feel as if you are living inside the book.  Hearts Home on Christmas is no exception to this rule.  Sandra Ross has once again been able to bring another story to life in a way that only she can.  It is the love story that had a dark part.  Hunter had cheated on Evie, and now she is leery of him for the fear of getting hurt by him again.  She is the owner of her own detective agency and searching for missing children.

She managed to make a steamy romance novel, with a needed life lesson for all.  That lesson is the fine art of forgiveness.  There are many times in life where it is very hard to find the inner strength needed to forgive someone.  This would have been the case for Evie, as well.  Hunter committed the most unthinkable act in any relationship.

I have already read this twice.  I loved the way that she wrote this book.  It is by far her best yet.  Sandra Ross is one of the most intriguing and fascinating 30 year old writers.  She is an inspiration to all women who want to write for a living.  She makes people realize that with a lot of hard work and dedication, they can do anything.

    Passion always conquers pride

Evie Snow is a freelance private investigator with psychic abilities and she
has never lost a case since she started her own business.  Apart from being
successful in her work, she has not been so successful in her love life and
when the love of her life, Hunter Vale, cheated on her – she was left
devastated and with a void that would never be able to be filled by any other

Unfortunately for Evie, Hunter and her are forced to cross paths again when
his niece goes missing and she is the only person who will be able to help
him.  This is not the first time she has had to face up to him and she realizes
that he is and always will be the only man for her.

Right from the first day she sees him she realizes that all the feelings she
keeps buried inside are still just as strong for him and their connection and
attraction hasn’t changed one little bit.  Evie puts her pride aside and takes
the plunge, back into the arms of the man she loves and has always loved.

I like the way the characters are developed and the emotional challenges
that Evie struggles with inside herself.  Their relationship is passionate and
the story is kept interesting with the paranormal investigation that runs
alongside their rekindled sexual desire for each other.  This is a sexy and
well written story that will keep you interested and stimulated and no doubt
get your body temperature up a bit!

    A Christmas Romance Story

It really is a hard task to write a love story centered around the life of a psychic and I am always interested in seeing a writer add mystery
to a situation that may otherwise seem obvious. How do you write a love story that intrigues about a character that literally has the ability
to see the future? The very fact that Evie Snow has that sixth sense takes away the element of the unknown that makes love so exciting.
When you find that special someone that mystery keeps you on your toes and turns your journey of discovering each other into a wild and
sensuous adventure. You would absolutely die of boredom if you could anticipate everything that would come to pass in your
Evie Snow is an excellent private investigator. She is passionate about what she does and has a few convictions about her chosen
profession that motivates her. She has a weakness for those who cannot defend themselves. Evie can't stand the coldness of the police
system and slow call to action that they seem to have when it comes to solving cases. This prompts her to open her own agency. In the
thick of things, she is thrown a little of course by a blast from her past. Hunter Vale's resurgence in her life shifts the current dynamics.
He needs her and while she thought that whatever they once shared was long buried by now, she soon discovers that they had only
been kept dormant. He rekindles the flame that she once had for him and this time it's a lot brighter and stronger than it has ever been.
I liked how the writer gave Evie a lot to overcome before she allowed her heart to be recaptured by her former flame. The little touch of
betrayal gave the story the complexity it needed to grab your attention. This isn't a story about choosing sides. It's about being able to
forgive and giving love a chance. Hunter comes back into her life and she is forced to abandon some of her convictions. She has to let
go of the past in order to let love back in. Hunter committed the ultimate betrayal, the kind that usually turns you bitter but in this story
Sandra proves that it takes a big person to forgive and forget and an even bigger one to give someone a second chance.
I did not like how long it took Evie to realize what she needed to do in order to free herself of regret. Sandra could have made her a little
more understanding. She seems too set on not giving him a chance. If not for the fact that they were forced to work together to save
Clarissa, I don't know how likely it would have been for her to let her guard down. She was just too guarded for my taste. I was glad
though that it was Hunter who needed her help rather than the other way around. I could only imagine that if it were Evie that needed to
rely on the man that broke her heart to save a loved one, it would have been similar to putting salt in an open wound. Besides, I could not
see Evie as the desperate type.
The romance aspect was written well and the sex was fitting. It captured the spirit of Christmas in a way. It's a good read for those who
like psychic romance stories and an even better one for those who like to take the underlying messages from the story. In this case the
message was forgiveness. Evie had to admit in the end that home for her really meant being wrapped in Hunter's arms.

Hearts Home For Christmas is the sexiest book I¿ve read in a lo

Hearts Home For Christmas is the sexiest book I’ve read in a long time. It is full of sexual suspense and tension between the two main characters, and Sandra Ross, once again, has left me searching for her next book.
The basis of the story is that the main character, Evie Snow, is an interesting, sensual character who has a few regrets about a man in her past. Since beginning her own private investigator business, Evie has never been so preoccupied as she is now that she has crossed paths with her long lost love, Hunter Vale. Only Evie remembers getting burned with the betrayal of his love, and feels hesitant. That is until Hunter confesses that she is his only love, and always has been. The sexual tension continues to build and build the further along you get in this book.
But Hunter and Evie do have an untrusted past, and the only way for Evie to make it up to Hunter is to give herself to him. Hunter is taken back by Evie’s sexual gesture but is not able to turn it down. He takes her body and offers her his heart.
The relationship between Evie and Hunter is captured perfectly and leaves you wanting to know more about them. These two are completely emotionally and physically ravished by one another. The written romance between the two of them is at times shy and playful, and you will definitely be left wanting to read a lot more about them.
I would recommend this book to any one out there who is looking for fateful love to come their way.

The holidays are a magical time of year when families get toget

The holidays are a magical time of year when families get together and spend time talking and laughing around the Christmas tree. Except when your daughter has been kidnapped by someone who just might do her harm. That's the case for at least one family this Christmas and Evie Snow is determined to make sure that nothing happens to that poor little girl. Unfortunately for Evie, so is the child's uncle, the man Evie used to love before he broke her heart. But will she be able to put aside past resentment in order to move on with finding the child?
This book has a really good writing style just like the rest of Sandra's books. The very best part of her books are the sex scenes, which are vivid and detailed. The rest of the style is very honest and blunt without any sugarcoating at all and she writes in exactly the way that most people truly think and talk. It's very refreshing to see this actually.
If you like romance and you're all about saving little kids then you should give this book a try. If you're all about second chances then this is for you too. After all, it's about everything from a psychic main character to a child in danger and a hot, sexy man trying to find her. It's the perfect culmination of things for me to really like this book. The only thing that I didn't like was how long it took for Evie to admit she needed to give Hunter another chance. Yes he betrayed her but he's not going to do it again.
This book shows the story of Evie Snow, psychic private eye. She's been hired to look into the disappearance of Clarissa, a little girl who just might be in terrible danger. It's just like any other case she's taken except for one thing. Hunter. The man that Evie loved right up until she found out about his horrible betrayal with another woman. She was unable to forgive him then and seems determined not to forgive him now. But they're going to have to work together to save Clarissa. And that just might lead them even closer together.
This book did a good job of reaching its goal since it was a very sweet yet very sensual romance story. It was also all about giving someone a second chance, which I think many women can relate to. Some men are capable of change and we all love to see when that happens. So for all my friends out there who love romance novels this just might be one to add to your list of must-reads. You won't regret it and you'll definitely enjoy this book.

An Interesting Christmas Romance Story With Plenty of Suspensefu

An Interesting Christmas Romance Story With Plenty of Suspenseful Moments

I always love stories that have a mixture of different genres together into one. That’s what makes a story unique and fun to read. One author I enjoy in particular is Sandra Ross. I can always relate to the characters that she creates and they feel realistic to me. Furthermore, the plot is always filled with twists and turns and you just don’t know what to expect. Therefore, I tried out another one of her stories called ‘In Each Other’s Embrace: Erotic Paranormal Romance’ and this time with a Christmas theme! I ought to say, this romance story is definitely interesting with a mixture of plentiful moments of suspense!

Christmas is always a time of happiness and enjoyment, but that’s not really the case for Evie Snow, a lone Private Investigator who is also a psychic as well! She is a professional in her specialties has never gave up on a case to find a missing child. However, the plot takes twist when she confronts, Hunter Vale, a lover who has betrayed her from the past with another woman. Despite those circumstances, she still has feelings for her and she will not let this child fall into the hands of evil.

Sandra Ross did an excellent job in detailing the steamy sex scenes and it felt real. The suspense was definitely as well in key moments of the story that totally changed the whole atmosphere. It quickly went from a romance scene to intense suspense that had me at the edge of my seat. It was great blend of the two genres into one magnificent story. I can’t wait to see what she has written next!

I have a thing for the paranormal. It’s a world that really interests me and was the major reason why I actually decided to get a copy of this book, In Each Other's Embrace: Erotic Paranormal Romance by Sandra Ross. I found the book to be scintillating to read and I found that the plot and characters were quite easy to follow, grow and love.

I did find though that there could be some more characterization in the book. This may be true or it may just be me and my overly critical book loving self. I did find however, that the plot was filled with a lot of twists and turns that quite made up for the lack of characterization that I found.

I also quite appreciated Sandra Ross’ attempt at the plot. As I said, it did have a lot of twists and turns that kept me interested in what was going on. I kept wondering what was going to happen next, what the resolution to the conflict would be and just how the characters were going to work certain things out. The whole paranormal twist on things just made it all better.

If you like the paranormal, then this may be a book for you.

It is Christmas season and while other families are busy in prep

It is Christmas season and while other families are busy in preparation for the coming Holidays, Hunter and his family is in panic because somebody kidnapped Crista, his niece. One person they all knew who can help her is Evelyn Snow, a private detective who has the "gift" of finding people and she never misses.

Even before Hunter Vale came to her office asking for her help, Evie is already `divining' in search for the same girl because she read her missing in the news. She has the `feel' that the girl is still alive and that she can still be saved.

Evie has lost faith in authorities since they do not believe the information she gave them about the past missing girls that it resulted to not finding and saving the girls alive. She thought that this time, she will take matters by her own hands. She will find and save the girl herself even if she is a stranger. Then there came Hunter and he shocked her like a major seismic activity when she saw him inside her office.

One of the story's twist is that Evie and Hunter were college sweethearts. But they end up on bad terms because of a "betrayal" and have not seen each other in years. The thing is, even after all those years, he still has the power to rock her world and so is she.

If I will judge Ms. Ross quality of writing, I think it is pretty good. Her plot line is clear, the flow of the story is smooth, resolution of conflicts is set and the characters are relatable.

The beginning of her story is neatly laid out, arousing my mind and questioning how is she going to solve the case of the missing girl and how will her "gifts" help her in doing so. I can understand her prejudice with the authorities because she already had a bad experience with them. But there are people who believe in her - personified by Hunter and his sister, also Evie's old friend.

Added up to this is the attraction Hunter and Evie still feel for each other. Underneath all the panic that the missing Crista causes them, there is still that sexual tension sizzling in the air. I can tell that they still have feelings for each other. But how can they let go of their hurtful past? How can they have a future? Or will they let themselves have a future?

For a short story, this is a satisfying read. The book is able to tackle the two main conflicts - one is finding the missing girl and the other is Hunter and Evie's love story. In other stories I read, I have issues on those things. It is like they laid out a big plot for a short story but the conflicts it mentioned in the plot was not properly dealt with. This is not the case in this book.

My one little contention with this is, why set the protagonist apart for so long? Wasn't Evie able to heal in the first year away from Hunter that she really can't talk to him when he was trying to reach out? There is the trust issue for Evie but can't she give Hunter the benefit of the doubt? Didn't she really know him when they were still dating? Hunter even said it "there are two sides to everything, Evie". Didn't she think about it when she has calmed down?

They love each other still, and the feeling never left them even after all those years. For me, I regret the years they spent apart for a misunderstanding that should they have discussed, perhaps they would have lived happy together much sooner.

But for all its worth, this paranormal romance suspense story is certainly an enjoyable read and something I will definitely recommend to my friends.

Sandra Ross’ work is like spun gold! I have been reading and collecting her books in the past few months. One thing I can assure you about her is that she never lets you down especially on the bed scenes (pun intended).
This book is about a private investigator named Evie Snow. She can any child with her skills and with her psychic gift. Everything is working well for Evie until someone from her past comes knocking for help. Hunter Vale is sexy and gorgeous. He’s also Evie’s ex-boyfriend. While on the outside Evie is cool and collected, she’s confused and aroused on the inside. Hunter may have hurt her in the pass but the attraction can’t be ignored for long. Will she give their relationship another chance?
Her writing is fluid with a hint of intrigue and a heavy dose of steamy encounters. She takes the time to describe the characters (mood, faces and quirks). I especially love her sexy scenes. She never fails to excite.
Personally, psychics and investigation don’t really do it for me when it comes to romance novels. I’m partial for soft BDSM and classical romance stories. At first, I gave this a try since I’m collecting all of Sandra’s books. Once I’ve read it though, it’s surprisingly good. I couldn’t put it down because every page draws you deeper in the plot.
I would recommend this book to those who are into psychic romance and second chances. As the saying goes, Love is sweeter the second time around.

    Forgetting or forgiving?

This is a Christmas story. However, do not expect some fairy tale here. It’s a life story with unexpected happenings. Evie Snow, a private investigator understands her ability to help a family and to save a small girl, which was kidnapped. She knows she is the best professional and she will do all she can to find a girl. Unexpectedly she faces a big challenge – she needs to co-work with Hunter Vale, the man, who broke her heart.

Betrayal – the worst thing in life and in any relationships. And Hunter did exactly this in past. Evie hearted so much. And it’s quite impossible to forgive a man in this situation and Evie don’t want to, but she is surprised more and more with her own feeling. She feels closeness to this man, she understands how attractive he is and realizes that she is far from forgetting him. What would be her next step?

Sandra Ross is famous for amazing bed scenes, written by her. There are so much passion and desire, mixed with remembering her pain.  It’s something amazing.

The end was quite unexpected for me. This story has much more than usual relaxing reading. This much about forgiveness, exactly what I need in Christmas.

    Waking Santa Divine

For the last couple of years, one particular book stood atop the New York Times Bestseller List---"The Shack," by William Young. It told the story of Mackenzie "Mack" Phillips, who took his children camping in the rugged Pacific Northwest wilderness and lost his youngest child, Missy, to a serial killer. (There are numerous references to God, since the thesis of Young's book was the omnipresence of God's everlasting love and forgiveness.)

However, God is not the focus here. Love and forgiveness are---along with the ugly specter of a pedophilic killer.

Sandra Ross has written another tome entitled "Hearts Home For Christmas," in which Evie Snow, the protagonist, is the owner and operator of a detective agency. She stands out from the other run-of-the-mill investigation services because she is able to communicate with spirits via the process of divination (entering a trance and listening for ethereal spirits).

Evie's love for the underdog, but in particular those unable to defend themselves, is evident from the story's beginning. Her innate frustration with police protocol and the time-consuming procedures involved with conducting a full-scale investigation into the latest spate of child murders prompted her to become a detective and to open her own agency, where she could perform
her responsibilities without having to combat a lot of red tape.

While going into a trance to seek out yet another missing child, she is suddenly interrupted by a knock on the door. Hunter Vale, her former lover, is standing on the threshhold, anxious to see her again after a considerable absence of time from her life. He is primarily there to hire her to find his missing niece, Christa---but also to find the appropriate way to tell her that, despite having been away from her for some time, he had always loved her.

There's one slight hitch to Hunter's idealistic plan: the guy cheated on her.

Having been both the initiater and recipient of this unfortunate situation myself, I found it uncomfortable that I suddenly equated Hunter---a fictional character---with myself. However, as someone who constantly strives to recognize my faults on a daily basis and learn from them, I was impressed with his innate sense of remorse. Hey, if I can forgive myself (most of the time) for my mistakes and faux pas, as can Hunter...then what about Evie?

As Shakespeare's Hamlet stated: "Aye, there's the rub."

The human capacity for emotion is almost limitless. We laugh, cry, hate, love, fume---and forgive. And in Evie's case, she finds it particularly hard to do just that.

This, naturally, is very understandable. Her heart is not quite as hard as, say, Pharoah in the Book of Exodus, but she had been emotionally wounded by Hunter's wandering eye and the subsequent fallout that she had to endure. Well the holidays are great when it comes to being together and having fun. You should always be able to get with family and friends around the holidays. I have to say that these books make me sad and I love reading great books by this author.

Sandra Ross is a great writer and she makes books that are based off any and everything. I can say that there are a lot of her books that I have gave a try when it came to romance, how to’s and second chances. I love her books and she has a lot to say and she is very creative as well. If you are looking for something to read then I hope that you give this book a try, because it is really good and it will leave you reading more and more.

This is a great book and it is about giving second chances and finding a girl that may be in danger. I love the fact that Sandra makes a lot of books worth reading. She adds a lot of different niches to her books and I love the twists and turns when I am reading. This is a great book to read for the holidays and or give to someone else to read. I would definitely recommend this book to all of my friends to read and family.

Sandra Ross is a great author and everyone should give this book a chance and if you do not like it which I know you will then at least you can say that you tried reading it.
