This series of board books (In My Den, In My Pond, etc.) is beautifully designed--sweet without being cloying, clever without being edgy. Even the youngest readers can manipulate the little built-in finger puppet and turn the sturdy die-cut pages. I've been buying the whole series for every baby shower I attend, but was especially happy to see how much my little niece loved them!

I bought this book for my 10 month old daughter in honor of spring. It is simple and entertaining. The bird finger puppet in the center of the book is my favorite. The illustrations are done well and there are a lot of things to point out as you turn each page, so it's different everytime.
