Meet the Author

Lynn M. Stone is a nature photographer whose images have appeared in National Geographic, Audubon, Field and Stream, and Ranger Rick. Lynn lives in St. Charles, Illinois.

Roger Welsch can best be described as a cross between Erma Bombeck and Dr. Ruth, except male and living in Nebraska with his wife and dogs. Before turning his talents to canine psychology, Roger was best known as \u201cthe fat guy in overalls\u201d on CBS\u2019 Sunday Morning, where he offered up essays on rural and small-town life on the plains.

Kenny Salwey is a woodsman who has spent his life in the backwaters of the Mississippi River. He is the author of The Last River Rat and Kenny Salwey\u2019s Tales of a River Rat and the narrator of the award-winning documentary Mississippi: Tales of the Last River Rat. A popular nature speaker since 1988, Kenny travels the upper Midwest talking to groups. Kenny and his wife, Mary Kay, live outside Alma, Wisconsin.
