I would recommend In Situ to those readers who do like the thrill of uncovering alien ruins in their science fiction. In Situ gives you that fix at bite size story length, as well as the happy serendipity of supporting and reading the work of an enthusiastic and innovative small press.

    All the stories feel half-finished

    I get the concept - these are stories about artifacts found in situ, or unmoved from their original place of discovery. What I don't get is why "in situ" also apparently implies sketch story or anecdote. A couple of these stories show real promise, but end just when they are starting to peak your interest. Frustrating, and the first Nook purchase that I'd like to return.
