Overview

Why would any educated scientist with a PhD advocate a literal interpretation of the six days of creation? Why, indeed, when only one in three Americans believes "the Bible is the actual word of God and is to be taken literally, word for word" according to a recent Gallup poll.

Science can neither prove nor disprove evolution any more than it can creation. Certainly there are no human eyewitness accounts of either. However, certain factors are present today which are capable of swaying one's beliefs one way or the other.

In this book are the testimonies of fifty men and women holding doctorates in a wide range of scientific fields who have been convicted by the evidence to believe in a literal six-day creation. For example, meet:

The geneticist who concludes that there must have been 150 billion forerunners of "modern man" in order for the natural selection required by evolution to have taken place in the development of man. The evidence for such vast numbers of "prehistoric man" is in dire shortage.
The orthodontist who discovered that European museum fossils of ancient man have been tampered with to adhere to evolution theories.
The geologist who studied under the late Stephen Jay Gould and literally cut the Bible to pieces before totally rejecting evolution.
All fifty of these scientists, through faith and scientific fact, have come to the conclusion that God's Word is true and everything had its origin not so very long ago, in the beginning, In Six Days.

Must Reading for all persons interested in evolution

In six days includes a collection of articles by 50 Ph.D. level scientists on why they have rejected evolution and accepted the creationism world view. According to various polls including Gallop, over 100,000 scientists are creationists, and many live in the US and Europe. How the 50 were selected is not known, but many are active in the Creation movement. One of the most important parts of the book is the telling by many of the scientists of their journey from evolutionism to creationism and/or why they rejected evolutionism and accepted creationism. For example, Dr. Standish, now a University level biology professor, when he was working on his Ph.D. in biology at George Mason University, was required to read Dawkin's book, The Blind Watchmaker, as part of his graduate level evolution class. He then discusses his research on Dawkins ideas and why he found them untenable. This picked my interest because Dawkins book seems to have converted many evolutionists to creationists, including one of the most visible creationists today, Professor Phillip Johnson of University of California, Berkeley. Many of the authors spent years examining the issue, and only after much study did they reject evolutionism. Of course many scientists reject evolutionism, but not all of these become creationists. The problem is most of the material presented in college classes today is proevolutionism, and one must dig on one's own to learn about the other side. Educated creationists know the evolutionism side very well, but few evolutionists know much about the creationism side. This book will help to remedy this situation.

So all 'real' scientists believe in evolution?

We keep hearing that real scientists believe in evolution. This book proves that claim to be a lie, as 50 Ph.D.s from virtually every branch of science explain why they believe in a literal six-day creation by the God of the Bible.
