Editorial Reviews

AMERICA IN WWII magazine
“In the Cockpit II showcases some truly odd and little-known planes alongside some of the most famous airplanes ever built. Readers will truly get a sense of what it is like to sit in the pilots’ seats of these great aircraft and, with the larger planes, to walk through and visit the various crew stations. The photographic quality is outstanding [a] flawless book all WWII aviation history enthusiasts will enjoy.”--(Drew Ames, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania)

An Excellent Read for Aircraft Enthusiasts

This volume trumps the prior two in the series with incredible digital photos of some of the NASM's most interesting and significant aircraft. An excellent research tool for aircraft modelers but the accompanying text makes it a good read for any aircraft enthusiast.
