Meet the Author

In the Country of Elegies is T. ALAN BROUGHTON’s fifth collection of poems, each published by Carnegie Mellon. He has also published four novels and a collection of short stories. His work has been honored by fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts. He is Professor and Chair of the Department of English at the University of Vermont.
