    One Hit Wonder?

I heard Melissa Ferrick on my local NPR/Alternative Music station and the song (Never Give Up) was so amazing I could not get it out of my mind and had to find out more. Purchased the CD and found that the other songs were not nearly as compelling. They are growing on me, but not in a way like "Never Give Up." Interestingly, she recently played at Columbus' Gay Pride Festival and I learned that she has a HUGE following in that community. Intersting woman with quite a story and talent, but I should have just downloaded the song from i-Tunes.
