They certainly include ensembles led by Fletcher Henderson, Benny Carter, Spike Hughes, and himself, and likely Duke Ellington. Unfortunately, there is no information attributing them on this collection, which is a major shortcoming. Ten of the selections are recognized standards, the set ends with his classic "Body and Soul," and perhaps collectors might be intrigued by the many obscure tunes included.
