IN THE MIDDLE OF A RAINBOW Correy Dickerson is a senior in high school, who spends all her time, studying and working. When she was a baby her dad died in a fire, so her mom works many jobs, day and night, so Correy can go to college. This book is about Correy learning how to have fun, when she meets a boy named Todd. While Correy was working in the nurse¿s office to earn some credits for college, a boy named Todd came in from soccer practice with a broken leg, they instantly like each other. They started to spend all there time together. Correy had to learn how to balance her school work and her new friends. This book is a light read and easy for young adults. The vocabulary is easy to understand and the description the author gives is great. This book was average, a good book to read on a rainy day.
