Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly - Publisher's Weekly
Baby Duck makes her series debut in a tender, funny story with bright, affectionately detailed art. Ages 3-6. (Apr.)
Children's Literature - Wendy Ricci
Who has ever heard of a duck that doesn't like rain? Baby Duck must walk in the rain to get to Grampa's house for breakfast. Baby's crankiness over having wet feet and a wet face ends when Grampa brings her to the attic to get an umbrella and a pair of boots that were once worn by Baby's own mother who had similar dislikes as a child. Baby Duck sings a happy song all the way home. Vivid pencil and watercolor illustrations are a perfect complement to the text.
