This book answers many questions for the spouse who is left behind due to the sordid lure of the cyberworld. The step by step progression of the cyberworld and how an intelligent person falls prey to the web of fantasy where there is no threat of rejection and total anonymity answered many questions for me. All the fantasy comes crashing down once the lies and deception are discovered. As with any addiction, the addicted one remains in denial and, once the marriage is over, is left to scrounge for a low life 'virtual' partner who is willing to play the game. Personally, I feel this is a well-written book and is very eye-opening to the victims of cyber addicts; however, I doubt the book will make the 'players' see themselves and seek help. This is the number one cause of divorce in America today and will only worsen as 200-300 new cyber sites are created each day.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
