Overview

Cold, fine drops of rain fall softly on my cheeks as I emerge from the darkness of the ship’s interior to the gray, overcast sky of the main deck. Pulling my dark pea coat tighter to my body, the wind lifts red tendrils of my hair. I walk slowly to the railing overlooking the water.

I catch my first sight of the Irish coastline; its craggy landscape makes me shiver in dread. I find it difficult to imagine now how the Gancanagh had made this their home for so long without anyone realizing it. The cold, moss-covered edifices practically scream their presence. As I study the shadows between the falling-down stone, I imagine creeping shapes of undead Faeries grasping the rock, waiting for our ship to draw nearer to their position.

Tipping my face up, I let the rain wash over me. It bathes away the frigid sweat of fear that has broken on my brow. “You don’t know how fiercely beautiful you are, do you?” A quiet voice behind me asks, causing me to stiffen and fix my eyes on the rocks along the shoreline.

Meet the Author

I live in Michigan with my husband and our two sons. My family is very supportive of my writing. When I’m writing, they often bring me the take-out menu so that I can call and order them dinner. They listen patiently when I talk about my characters like they’re real. They rarely roll their eyes when I tell them I’ll only be a second while I finish writing a chapter…and then they take off their coats. They ask me how the story is going when I surface after living for hours in a world of my own making. They have learned to accept my “writing uniform” consisting of a slightly unflattering pink fleece jacket, t-shirt, and black yoga pants. And they smile at my nerdy bookishness whenever I try to explain urban fantasy to them. In short, they get me, so they are perfect and I am blessed. Please visit me at my website: www.amyabartol.com

This series has seeped into my blood. I've totally enjoyed every single one of the books so far, and I can't wait for more. Last installment, I was rooting for Brennus. Well, Brennus made me mad in this book, but then I found myself rooting for him again, lol. He's just such a complex character. Of all the characters in this series, I think he has the most depth, and the most to lose if he loses Evie. We get to meet Evie's father in this book, along with some other characters that are bone chillingly bad. I'm looking forward to seeing where Amy Bartol takes this epic series. I'm not saying that lightly, either. This series is right up there with Fever for me in the way it makes me ponder the characters, the world, and what will eventually happen. If you are looking for a series that will suck you into the story, make you feel, make you fly with emotion, give the Premonition series a try. It's hands down the best Angels series I have ever read. It has everything: mystery, thrills, chills, swooning, heart-pounding, love-to-read-can't-put-it-down. I can't say enough about how much I loved it!

I have so many polar opposite feeling for so many characters! Some of them, I’m head over heels in love with, and some I hate so much I wanna spit fire on them!! LOL this means that the writer has done her job by letting me have so much feeling!!  and we’ve got new characters and some awesome returning characters! And lets not forget about all the fantastic action! It’s a rough ride but it’s totally worth it! There’s some serious character growth here too  So lemme say I still love Russell and he has a very special part of the story! And Zee has totally blown me away… I’ve decided I want him as my book boyfriend!!  I feel bad for Evie in this one. She is literally taken on a ride of chaos and hurt! And Brennus has kinda blown me out the water, but not in a good way :/ he was such a fascinating character to me! With a never ending supply of bad guys and new characters and crazy world-wind twists, I was not putting this book down. I love a book that isn’t predictable! And I love when something is special and heartbreaking and happy and beautiful all at the same time!! You know, I don’t know what took me so long to read this series but hot damn I’m so glad I’ve found it. I have a feeling the next go round my put me in the ground! Each one just gets to me so much more so I absolutely cannot wait for number 5! Go!! Go out right now and get this series! 5 CRAZY PHENOMENAL PAWS from me!

Oh Evie! You are such a martyr!!! I love how much you love those close to you. This was my favorite book in the Premonition series by far. There was so much action, sacrifice and love in this installment. All the characters were front and center for this part of Evie's story. I felt like a lot of the storyline for the series came together in this book. I wasn't a huge fan of adding Brennus to the story line before. This particular book made him real for me as a character. The undead fairy with an obsession for Evie really took the spotlight in this book. Amy had a way of shifting interest in the story to encompass him and his people. I found myself actually becoming comfortable with Brennus. The romance!!! Evie has all the guy problems! *wink, wink* I won't tell you all the sordid details of her love life, but a lot of things took an interesting turn in this book. I was sure I knew who I wanted Evie to end up with before and now, I'm not as sure anymore. There are so many different variables by the end of this story and I don't know enough yet to decide..... This series has brought together Divine Angels, Fallen Angels, Seraphim, half Angels, undead fairies, undines, ifrets, and many more creatures that I never could have dreamed up on my own. This book was truly creative and unique. I am a huge YA/New Adult paranormal romance fan!!! This series is an absolute must read! Dive into the world of Angels with Evie and her friends on an incredible journey that currently spans four books. I am hoping there will be another book and SOON! I can't wait to read what happens next! This book held my attention and I had a really hard putting it down. I only abandoned it when exhaustion overcame me:( I wish it didn't have to end, it was so good. For the fourth installment in the Premonition series, I have to give it five glittery stars hands down for blowing my mind!

I have read a few series about fallen angles before this one, but this is by far my favorite. Even though the story is mainly about the fallen, I enjoyed how the author also incoorporates other fictional creatures into it. You become really attached to each character throughout the story, which makes you feel more devoted to what you are reading. You even become attached to some of the villians like Brannus and his brother Finn. The different ways in which each character talks bothered me at first but now I find it brilliant. By studying the way each character talks you can diffrentiate the time period they are from which I think makes a lot of sense that most authors do not. I'm still not sure how I feel about the narrator changinh from time to time from evie to russel, but I did like the small part in which reed is the narrator. Brilliant series, dying for more!

This series is very entertaining. I can't wait for book #5. Some of the surprises Bartol sticks in (in book #4), caught me completely off guard. I even laughed out loud and giggled. I am looking forward to reading more works from this creative mind.

These books are amazing. I'm in love with Reed as much as Evie is. I can't get enough of them. Can't wait for book five!!! I really hope Evie and Reed stay together. Not a huge fan of Xavier.

Wow, I can’t believe I got blown away yet again. Amy sure knows how to rip out my heart and twist it, man, not sure how much more I can take. I am not one of those who like Brennus, yes, he is sexy, but he is evil! And yes, he did touch me some in previous books, but no way am I abandoning Reed, Its Reed all the way for me. Brennus truly showed his evil self in this one. So, Incendiary starts out right where we left off in Indebted, with Russel and Evie training with the other angels on Zee’s Island. But its not all as it seems, because boy does the story change really quickly. This Russel/Reed/Brennus fight for Evie changes course, and its completely unexpected. We get to meet some new additions in this book, which I love. It sure makes things interesting. I love when an Russel is shocked at an unexpected arrival of a beautiful angel. Evie gets some surprises of her own, from her past, and its explosive. I was shocked at there were angels who have been with her throughout nearly her entire life. Lets not forget the guardian too. So many revelations that it’s just a huge shock to Evie, as well as for me. Evie is getting so frustrated by the constant tug of war of her soul, and her trying so hard to hold onto Reed, when it just looks like it will be impossible to do so, the odds just keep on stacking up against them. I was so happy about that great twist with Russel, Yay. We do get some more point of views from Russel, but its not so bad this time.(didn't like it in book 2 so much) I will say I was so freaked out at what happened to Reed, I just could not figure out how it was going to work out! Yikes, I guess I should not say much more, as I really do not want to spoil anything major. Trust me; you need to read this book. This whole series is amazing.
