Inceptions, Prologue One

This story is dedicated to my late rp friend Cirrus. Rest in peace, Anabella.

Unknown's Point of View.
2054 A.D., Peoria IL, Coldtrain Zone 173.

I clung to the underside of the Coldtrain rail, which was suspended hundreds of feet in the air, held up by pointed electromagnetic waves. It was the ultimate science fiction transport, the rails at –457.12 degrees Fahrenheit, electromagnetic fields shooting along, dragging trains at hundreds of miles per hour towards the next stop.
Skyscrapers stood high in the air, up to six hundred feet above us, the train track weaving throughout them. Drones and robots cleaned the streets far below, Ama<3>zon delivery drones dropping off packages at doorsteps, driverless UP<3>S trucks run by AIs and broadcast energy advancing at normal rates through the city.
My gaze and attention turned upwards, my vision trapped by the grey titanium-mercury surface. The surface started vibrating slightly, signalling that the next train was fast approaching. Pulling out a fat cylinder, I uncapped it. The inside was filled with semi-solid nanobots, which would act as a grappling hook for me to board the train or simply hitch a ride. I pressed the cylinder's side to the bottom of the rail, a small charge of electromagnetism keeping it stuck there. The vibration became audible, and the cylinder inched towards the train. I pressed a button on my gauntlet, the nanobots beoming twice as hard as titanium and gushing out, replicating enough to hug me in silver goo. I took a deep breath as the nanoparticles hardened, giving me room to breath. The train shot overhead, the electromagnetic field dragging the cylinder along the bottom of the rail, shooting me forward at exactly two hundred and seventeen MPH. Everything was a blur except the buildings, which stayed mostly still as we shot around them. Time for the fun part.

Celeste Vardinia stood in the main car of the Coldtrain, expecting an attack at any moment. Kemri Government had alerted her to possible Rapid Movement activity, the human rebel group against absolute Kemri Government. They had already struck in Chicago, destroying Knowledge Dome Eighty-Five A with a mini-fission explosive, temporarily taking away part of Kemri knowledge of strings and how to manipulate molecules in a substance; knowledge that with the deprievation of would weaken Kemri Dreads until the breach in Knowledge could be patched.
Perhaps a short explanation of this "Knowledge" would be right? Knowledge is an international net of data that supplies the Kemri with supreme scientific knowledge, allowing them to understand physics to a point of mental manipulation. If they were deprieved of this net, the humans could easily destroy them and harness their technology. But in the forty years since the Kemri had landed, nothing of the sort had happened.
Tucking a strand of black hair behind her ear, she spun at the sound of glass shattering, and saw an armored figure smashing through the Kemri guards, utilizing particles and energy to boost his own strength and armor. The figure had a black, skull shaped mask on, and planted his hand on the doorway to the control room, titanium creaking as he tightened his grip.
Celeste knew Manipulation warfare techniques, but doubted she could stop this person from ramming the train into another Dome.
The person stopped in shock when it saw her. "Celeste?"
There was only one person who called to her in that tone. "Zane?!"
OMG! The book is fabulous I have never read a perfect love story while waiting for the shoe to drop!
I was in suspense from beginning to end . I'm still waiting for the shoe to drop there's so many comments
and secrets left unanswered. The book ended at a traffic jam at a green light while running late for work!
You laugh, smile, scream, and wiggle all while on the edge of your seat daring someone to interrupt you!
I need the next book like yesterday!!!
