Randall McCutcheon is an experienced and decorated high school educator who teaches or has taught English, speech, debate, and journalism. He also has experience training adults, including teachers, school administrators, and businesspeople. He lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

James Schaffer is chair of the English Department at Nebraska Wesleyan University, where he teaches writing and journalism courses. Both are coauthors of the leading high school speech textbook. He lives in Lincoln, Nebraska.
