Editorial Reviews

Publisher's Weekly
This tragicomic exposé is a roller-coaster ride through the world of justice in the South Bronx. In this dramatic first book, Feige skillfully shares his wisdom and his humanity and sheds light on a justice system that too often works irrationally.
Entertainment Weekly (EW) - Entertainment Weekly
Propulsively written and thoughtful, Indefensible is a revealing look at the sometimes rusty scales of justice. Grade: A
Booklist - Booklist Magazine
With a style that combines black comedy with the drama of a thriller, Feige provokes a debate about the shortcomings of our justice system and the overarching disregard for the underclass that is evident in that system.
Elle Magazine
"Feige glories in feeling like a 'righteous outlaw'—and thank God. As he rightly points out, 'The narcissistic pleasure of giving doesn't invalidate the gift.' And someone's got to give it."
New York Daily News - Kate Kelly
"A scathing indictment...of the criminal justice system."
