Meet the Author

Choong Yong Ahn is the chairman of the Presidential Regulatory Reform Committee, a foreign investment ombudsman for Korea, and a distinguished professor at Chung-Ang University. He is the author of many articles in prestigious international journals, including the European Economic Review, the Japanese Economic Review, and Review of Economics and Statistics. Pravakar Sahoo is an associate professor at the Institute of Economic Growth in New Delhi, India, and a South Asia Fellow at the East-West Center in Washington, DC. He is the author of more than 40 research papers in national and international journals, including the International Economic Journal, Journal of Asian Economics, and Singapore Economic Review.
