I am a psychiatric social worker who purchased 'Indigo Teen Dreams' for our unit. We have utilized this wonderful CD on a twice weekly basis as part of our relaxation curriculum. We have a very diverse population of adolescents ranging from kids who are moderately depressed or highly anxious to severely behaviorally and emotionally disturbed. This CD has reached teens across the board and given them the initial realization that they do have some control over their bodies and how they choose to respond to situations and stressors. I applaud 'Indigo Teen Dreams' CD for its usefulness in everyday life in supporting teens with many diverse needs and challenging issues to find a better way to deal with their stressors.

My son is having so many problems adjusting to High School. He is a bright kid who is not a jock, not the most popular kid and not the best student. He is an average kid who is struggling to keep up with the pressure of life and being a teen. Lately he has been depressed, not confident and is starting to doubt whether he fits in with any group. My sister introduced me to Indigo Teen Dreams a few weeks back. I listened to it first and was very impressed with the content, techniques and music. I was hopping he would be to. He was! He listens to the CD almost every night and I hear him saying the affirmations out loud. I also see them taped up to his mirror. He seems more sure of himself in the last week and is trying out for the drama club. Although we are still working on some issues it seems this CD has helped. I recommend this to anyone who has teens whether they are struggling like mine or seem perfectly content. I have also listened to it during the day and I enjoy the belly breathing myself.

Teens are under tremendous stress and they need emotional tools to help them navigate Middle School and High School. This 2 CD set gave my teens actual techniques presented on their level. My teens have learned to implement breathing and positive statements to help them relax and feel good about themselves. The 2 CDs give them a choice to just chill to the music or practice the techniques. I recommend this for all teens and even college students. An investment in your teens future and current well-being.

I am a senior in High School and was getting really stressed out dealing with keeping my grades up, working part time, studying and taking my SAT's. Now I am applying for college and I have not been able to eat or sleep much. My mom gave me Indigo Teen Dreams to check out one night when I was having trouble falling asleep. To my surprise, I not only enjoyed the relaxation techniques but I fell asleep without realizing it. I have been listening every night to different tracks and can't believe how easy it is and how much better I feel. The speaker has a great calm voice and I like what he has to say. The music is equally enjoyable. I think any teen dealing with H.S. would enjoy this CD.

I'm a very tense person by nature and I get anxious easily, which sometimes disturbs my sleep. Recently, I had a difficult time falling asleep because I was worrying about college and such. I put on Indigo Teen Dreams and almost instantly felt more at ease. The visualizations and images are wonderfully relaxing. The meditation really allowed me to focus in on myself and forget the world around me. And the deep breathing track is something that everyone should do, learning how to deep breathe can make a world of a difference, as I found out. I put the CD on my i-pod and listen to it whenever I need to relax. It's made my overall mood better and I'm happy to have found something that makes me feel better. I do a lot of theatre and once the school year starts up, I plan to use the techniques to focus and relax myself before an audition. These techniques I can carry with me and use forever I would strongly recommend it to any teen, I think everyone can benefit from it.

This is a 2-CD set, one has tracks that walk the listener through affirming oneself, breathing for self-soothing, muscular relaxation and visualization.  These are especially useful if a live leader is not available or if an individual wants to use this alone.  The remainder of the CD is comprised of "soundtracks" for each.  The second CD is also music for meditation and relaxation. The set when used by one individual is a great refresher or soother; when used with a group, can be used while the leader observes instead of being required to direct the group.  It's a valuable asset to one's toolbox!
