Overview

Geek, Sagittarius, liberal or conservative, dyslexic, jock -- these are labels which define and identify us. They give us a place to belong and a way to relate to those who like the same things we do. In the 1970's Nancy Tappe identified a new group of children being born as Indigo, a term which has rapidly spread around the world ever since. Today Nancy speaks out for these remarkable individuals who are bringing the winds of change to every level of society and culture. Who are Indigos? What are they like today, nearly 40 years later? Indigos are globalizing the planet. Their consciousness is accelerating the demise of outworn institutions and is bringing about the so-called "Twitter revolutions" in political regimes such as those in Egypt and Libya. How has that happened? What are they doing? How are they doing it? What is it like to be Indigo? What has it been like to watch them grow and develop? Indigo: The Quiet Storm is the crowning achievement of Nancy Tappe's work with human existence and how it plays out in the individual personality. Her legacy for tomorrow clarifies the label she began 40 years ago and promises an explanation of the Indigo mindset and potential.

Meet the Author

Nancy Tappe has often described herself as "an ordinary person with an extraordinary talent." She is, indeed. Nancy's DNA her-itage provided her with a combination of synesthesia and "the sight" as her Scottish grandmother might have said. Today scien-tists define her abilities as accessing and connecting part of the brain that others cannot. Nancy is the owner of Colorology, an organization devoted to the study of the personality through the science of color. Nancy has devoted her life and career to the study of color, consciousness, awareness, and their applications to the human personality. She has a large clientele throughout the United States and in Switzerland. Today Nancy utilizes the magic of technology to disseminate her teachings and philosophy to a world-wide audience through a variety of books and websites.
Kathy Altaras is the owner of Aquila Media Productions, a small, niche-market publishing company specializing in non-fiction media products. She has known and worked with Nancy Tappe for over thirty-five years. A Navy wife of thirty-three years, Kathy had two separate teaching careers in Texas and California, totaling twenty-two years. She holds a lifetime teaching credential in Texas and a California Clear Standard Secondary Teaching Credential. She retired from teaching in California and began consulting for teachers of gifted students. Kathy likes exotic and remote travel, counting Mongolia, Central and South America, and Africa among her favorite places.
