A friend told me about this book and said that it was chock full of great advise. I wasn’t sure going in what to expect but it wasn’t long before I began to think of specific coworkers who would benefit from this read. It seemed each chapter would bring a different person to mind, my son who is fresh out of college, my coworker who loves corporate events when the alcohol is paid for and my sister who likes to call everyone “sugar baby”. I was a little caught off guard though when I began to read chapters and realize that Cottrell and Nix were speaking directly to me. I’m a 55-year-old man who thought he had it all figured out but found there are areas in my life and career that still need much work. I have shared nuggets from this book with several people in my circle of influence and will continue to do so. I highly recommend Indispensable! be read by everyone, no matter how long they have been in the work place.
