a sticky green thumbs up for Jorge!!!

This new edition of the growers bible has definitely made a giant leap in quality. The vast and well researched information has been made comprehensible and pleasantly visual thanks to a fun, clear narration sided by numerous color diagrams and images. Not only does it help you step by step in understanding the plant and its cultivation but also gives you oodles of practical advice only on-hands experience can provide. Excellent and very informative guide in an easy-to-read and visually explanatory method of transmitting the multitude of information needed in a growers manual.

    Indoor Marijuana Horticulture

Jorge Cervantes recently asked us to review his book on his website and give an honest opinion. I like his book and it is quite good and will get a grower there from start to finish. The only thing I will say about it though is that it needs to correct a few errors and misconceptions about the plant that have been is circulation for quite some time. These need to checked out before the writer puts pen to paper. Just because High Times says so does not make it true. The book needs editing too and I am not the first to say this so there ya go Jorge. An honest review for your good grow book.

    Indoor Marijuana Horticulture

Inbreeding does not establish a pure breed. A pure breed is a breed of cannabis species that does not have another species influence. True breeding is established by selecting for homozygous traits. This has nothing to do with inbreeding. The term consistent chromosomes means nothing in breeding terminology. He is mixing true breeds and pure breeds in his book. It is possible to predict the outcome of a hybrid. He says you can not. A 6th generation inbred plant can retain all these traits from the 1st generation inbreeding. He says they can not. Inbreeding is not necessary to establish a true breed. He says it is. Inbreeding can lead to different grow characteristics. He says they can not. Hybrid plants can be bred from any cannabis plants that are not directly related. He says they only come from inbreeding. The F1 cross is first generation offspring of two parent cannabis plants that are not directly related. It has nothing to do with true breeding like he says. He goes on to say that F1 varieties are the most sought after plants available because they grow approximately 25 percent faster and larger than other crosses. What Nonsense. There is no evidence of this in the world of breeding. Any F generation can experience hybrid vigor. Cervantes says that can not. Hermaphrodite plants are not less potent. They are just less yielding. This book is not accurate. Simple as that.

    The Best Guide!

Jorge's book covers all the ins and outs of growing cannabis indoors. His up-to-date techniques maximize yield per watt. With excellent tips on everything from setting up a room, lighting, fertilizer, pests, even security issues, so you can't go wrong. Dozens of pages of color photos taken in growrooms around the world, highlight various techniques and growing problems, making it easy to know what's wrong with your plants. It's obvious Jorge has studied numerous grow rooms, and incorporated many years of knowledge and experience into this book. I recommend this book for both novice and experienced growers. I grew great dope with this book!

Thanks Jorge! I found this book to be the best available. It has everything. I liked the hundreds of color photos and drawings. The part that helped me the most was the color drawings of the leaves with nutrient deficiencies. This saved my crop! I just harvested my fourth crop and it looks like it will be heavier than the last!
