I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I read book 1 (Savor) and took part in the blog tour and really enjoyed it. I love Megan Duncan's writing style and her ability to capture your attention and weave you into a whole different world. So of course when she offered me the chance to read this one, I couldn't resist. This book follows on straight from where book 1 ended and I was immediately pulled back into Claire's life. It has been a few months since I read Savor but the storyline, characters came straight back. I liked seeing Claire develop in this book both as a Vampire and a Warrior and really just grow up a bit, she starts to take a stand in what she believes in and what she wants and I found that refreshing. Arrick is still a bit of a mystery but I find myself drawn to him. I hope he becomes a bigger part in the series, I really want to know what happens with him. There are a lot of fresh new faces in this book as well as the return of some old ones and it made for an interesting mix. There are some fight scenes that had me on the edge of my seat urging Claire on. A lot of the time I felt like I was right there next to her, ready to take on the next challenge. I am falling in love with this series, it is so different from the other vampire series I have read and it's refreshing.

I enjoyed reading this series. Just don't expect proper grammar. Many times I had to rewrite a sentence to make sense of the passage. The editors should try reading sentences backwards and look for errors.

Devour started right were Savor left off. The new setting is more peaceful at first. I didn't feel like there were as many secrets being hidden from Claire here. While I thought I would have a hard time with the love triangle, because I liked Dmitry so much in Savor, I found that Arrick really grew on me. I also really like the direction I think Dmitry may go. It all seems like a fast transition, but they've all been through a lot separately and apart, so that's sure to mess with your emotions. Claire seems to adapt to things unnaturally fast anyway, so that must be just the way she is. There is a new guy thrown in the mix as well. I liked him, but I really hope he isn't here to turn the love triangle into a square. I like him as Claire's friend or maybe a possible love interest for someone else. A servant mentioned he was not who he seemed, but nothing ever happened to back that up. So, I guess we'll see. One thing that bothered me was how many times the fact that Claire was the only one of her kind was stated. It was distracting, and at one point her mother even contradicted the statement by saying there were others like her in other kingdoms. So, i was at a little bit of a loss. Overall, i enjoyed this book and I'm happy at the way it ended.Indulge by Megan Duncan was provided to me by the SupaGirl Tours for review. The opinions are my own.

This book had some promise based in the first book in the series. But it was a let down. There were too many reminders that Claire is 'one of a kind'. The fight scences are very good, even though the plot is rambles somewhat.

Another fantastic addition to this series, after the twist at the end of Savor we are taken back to where the last book left off. Journeying to Naos, Claire and Arrick are on the run from the events that happened in Noire, while not wanting to ruin the storyline let's just say that Claire will be reunited with some vampires in Naos that she hasn't been around in many, many years. Unfortunately due to a certain plotline in this book we don't really get to see a whole lot of Arrick which is a pity because once you meet him you'll be like Dmitry who? With an action packed battle and a cast of loveable characters, get set for another addictive book that will have you highly anticipating the third novel Devour.

Indulge is the second book in the Warm Delicacy series. What I love about this series is that each book takes off right after the other ends. I know this for sure because I’ve started the newest and third book in the series, Devour. Claire is taken by Aarick to meet her real family. Her actual vampire mother and father. Yes, she is one of the rare humans who were born from vampire parents. Not only is this rare, she is also doubly rare, because she was than turned by vampires into a vampire herself. So not only does she have her biological parents blood coursing through her, she also has her kidnappers blood and her Blood Mate’s aka Blood Guard’s blood mixed in. What does this create? A vampire like nobody has every encountered and with abilities and skills that present themselves during different times and some are still unknown. Claire is welcomed back to her original home with open arms. She also finds that the townspeople do not feel threatened by the royal vampires, but hold them as equals. This is something very new to Claire who has seen how humans felt about the vampires and some of the vampires felt of the humans in the region she has left behind. Haunted by Anna and with increasing signs that the Dark is near, Claire learns how to fight. She learns how to hone her vampire senses and how to respond with the abilities her vampire body gives her. She learns basic to advanced movements of battle which proves to be a rather great advantage when the followers of the Dark present themselves before they were expected. I give this book 3.5 stars. Again, Megan Duncan has created a vampire world that I can enjoy, but not without some bumps here or there. Some of the structure of paragraphs were found to be a bit jumpy and I found myself rereading them, and changing them around a bit to make them work just right. The story did drag a bit, I didn’t find the connection between Claire and Bennet very real and there were other things that just didn’t make me feel like it should have. Do I recommend this book? Absolutely, and not because I received it in exchange for an honest review, but because it’s a good story and connects wonderfully with the story brought to us in Savor.

Indulge picks up where Savor left off and the action is non-stop! There are a few spelling/grammar/syntax errors that need to be  addressed, but they are not enough to cause a problem while reading. There are several twists in the plot that I didn't expect to happen, the suspense and mystery is written so well that I think I have an idea about who or what may be the problem, but then something occurs that makes me question whether I am on the right track or not! One thing, for sure, is that Claire is beginning to embrace her destiny and the duty that seems to be only something that she can deal with. Claire is definitely coming into her own, with confidence, loyal friends, and her own self-discoveries. She is gaining the confidence and trust in herself that allow her to speak up when she feels that there is a better way of handling things. She is also finding out that she has some excellent insights on possible strategies that can be used to fight the evil that is coming - strategies that many of the older "clan" are either unwilling to try, or have not had any way to try to put into practice. Claire is learning to embrace the role of a leader. I can't wait to read the next book in the series!! It would be nice to see some more in-depth relationship with Claire's "newest" vampire parents to create a more solid relationship with them, as well as to possibly solidify the relationships for any future plot lines though. DISCLAIMER: This is an honest review. The opinions expressed here are my own, and no money or other compensation was provided for this review.
