i read the other books before this one and intend to read ones after this one. this series is really really good. there is a lot of drama which makes it interesting and the books are told by different characters points of views switches off every chapter. mostly for teens. you will most likely fall in love with these books. the 'main' character is a girl named jenny. this is all i can tell you without ruining it for you.

This book was a dissappointment to me, I read the other books in the summer and I loved them! Thought the story was great, couldn't wait for the new books and everything, but I read this one and nothing to drastic and exciting seemed to happen it felt like it just kind of dragged. It wasn't bad still a good book it's just I wouldn't be like suggesting this first thing if someone asked, I only was really interested in the Tinsley and Jenny parts but yet that was still kind of boring.

I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book and it was no dissapointment. I sat down at 5:30 and read straight through to the end and finished at 7:30 with no breaks in between. I love seeing the characters in a new setting and the different relationships that form and break down. I love Cecily's way that she writes about the city and its magic at the holidays. It was funny, romantic, witty and had great story lines. I would very much recomend this book to anyone who enjoys the series or any other "poppy" books. :)

Infamous was fun to read and it was cool to see the characters out of the school environment. But there were parts that seemed to drag along and I the ending was rather disapointing, but that's just my opinion, someone else might completely love the ending. Can't wait til book #8, Adored!!

I so can not wait for the next It Girl book to come out. I totally loved the last one. It was incredibly funny. I can honestly say I almost peed my pants. *Blushes*. I thought it was so cool that Callie ended up saving Jenny. It was a twist I never expected. And I thought it was so hilarious when Callie's mom sent her to that rehab center. Serves the witch right, I mean, it's so not Jenny's fault all the guys want her. And OMG, I HATE TINSLEY!! What is up with her? Seriously, I can't believe how bitchy she can be. Like dude, she needs to get over herself. If I were a character in that book, I'd totally kick the crap out of her. O.K. so I've officially used "totally" way too many times. I'm just really excited to see what kinds of twists will be in the next book.
P.S. I can't belive Heath got his heart broken. I feel so bad for him. *Tear*

How come the info for it is the same as the book before it. I really hope Easy and Jenny get back together even though they porbably wont but i hope they do. Its seems like Jenny and Brandon should go out. They seem to always like each other.

I cannot wait for this book to come out. I don't want to give anything away from the last book but I can't belive how she ended it. I'm thinking that its deffeintaly not going to last for very long though. Waverly students have a way of always bouncing back.

It's about DAMN TIME they put a black girl on the cover. And she's pretty, too. But uh, that said, the last book made no sense to me. Sometimes, left-field stuff is good, but to me, it was stupid. Come on. Callie saved Jenny? And what the hell was up with that Drew character who just wanted to screw Jenny? Oh, and Easy and Callie make me sick for some reason. Easy did Jenny so wrong, and it kind of seems like he doesn't care sometimes. *rolls eyes* This one better be good.

From the moment I first read Gossip Girl, I was immediately drawn in to Cecily von Ziegesar's novels. The author has such amazing descriptions and juicy plot that you can't put your book down until you finish it. After I read the whole Gossip Girl series, I didn't hesitate to read The It Girl. I fell in love with Easy Walsh, admired Jenny Humphrey, and despised Tinsley Carmichael. von Ziegesar creates her characters with such depth that you wouldn't be surprised if they were real. I've been rooting for Jenny and Brett and cannot wait until Infamous arrives in November.

Overview
It's Thanksgiving break at exclusive Waverly Academy, and everybody's feeling thankful . . . for the long weekend. New BFFs Jenny Humphrey and Tinsley Carmichael are determined to snap their glum but still uberstylish roomie Callie Vernon out of her funk-it's been weeks since her boyfriend Easy Walsh was kicked out of school, and they're sick of her moping. The plan: head to NYC for some R & R! And some SS (serious shopping). But the girls quickly discover that a quiet holiday is not in store for them. A cozy Thanksgiving dinner turns into a three-day party with a few of their classmates-and some irresistible mystery guests. Jenny meets Mr. Right ...
