I was at the signing earlier today. As a matter of fact I arrived 2 1/2 hours earlier and asked the store manager if I could take pictures of the author. As the web-site states you can take as many pictures you like, I wanted to confirm it and be polite by asking. The author was late and the when she arrived, we were all informed she didn't want anyone to take her pictures with phone or cameras... Why Barnes and Noble states something by creating expectations and during the last minute we are told otherwise. The store manager embarrassed me unnecessarily in the store by demanding me to move to a spot she pointed out, and I did without replying to her request. I understand she has a job to do, but speak to people with a lower tone of voice and respect and not demanding obedience. Very rude and unprofessional I have to say. I have returned the book because I couldn't tolerate such a out of proportion verbal communication. I left the store immediately after standing there for hours, and I must say I won't go back.
