What a brilliant fantasy complete with wizards, dragons, and of couse sword plsy. Truly an epic tale that keeps you mesmerized totally losing yourself in the story. This keeps you so focused on the fast paced prose that you lose track of time. The characters in the story are so well written that you feel like you are with them as they fight against the invaders of their land. I was so captivated that I read almost all of this book in one sitting. I am a fast reader but I found myself reading even faster to find out what happened next i truly hope that this author will continue to create more of his wonderful stories. I would buy them all and savor each of his books. Encore, encore PLEASE!!! I HIGHLY recommend this book.

This book had a fabulous plot, fairly likable characters and some really creative fantasy elements that I enjoyed. But the writing was under-developed and in sorry need of revision. If not for the excellent plot, I would not have bothered reading past the first 100 pages. Watson has the potential to become a wonderful story teller. It's unfortunate he pushed this book out before it was really ready for the public eye.

I am enjoying the story so far (on page 450). But i am noticing MANY similarities to the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Wondering if the author is a Tolkien fan.

I was totally surprised to see over 1200 pages. This book is awesome. Excellent writing (a few typos) but something you can totally overlook. I absolutely love fantasies, old-world epics with swords, archers, magic, beasts...i could go on and on. I'm loving this book! I can't wait to read it again.

This is a kidnapping story with a twist. I really got into the lead character- he holds thewhole story together. Read it in 2 days. Definitely worth a try.
