Overview

Bestselling author John Edward has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique and powerful psychic skills. Now, he shows people how they too can tap into their psychic selves.

Infinite Quest--now in paperback--will help readers to develop their intuition and renew their own latent powers, so they can confidently take chances and make choices. By following certain guidelines and intuition-building exercises, we can learn to get in touch with our Spirit Guides and identify the psychic energy around us on deeper levels. Edward also discusses how technology can work with our “sixth sense,” and explains how to use divination tools. Like his new eponymous website, Infinite Quest is truly a “portal to all things metaphysical.”

Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble

Prominent psychic medium and bestselling author (Crossing Over) John Edward wants you to tap into your latent psychic core for the answers to life's most important questions. In Infinite Quest, he lays the groundwork for learning what your intuition is telling you and then applying it confidently to the crossroads situations that you try so hard to avoid. A Sterling Publishing hardcover to bolster your sense of self.

Publishers Weekly
Bestselling author Edward (After Life) begins with a letter to the reader: “I turned forty last year, and it is my twenty-fifth anniversary of being a psychic medium.” Now Edward urges readers to upgrade their own psychic powers: “Think of this entire book as an experience designed to be an earthly guide to a spiritually energetic Divine process.” Guidelines and instructions include how to “create a metaphysical workplace in your mind” as an inner sanctuary for spiritual practices. One can tap into energy currents and visualize alternative outcomes: “potential realities for you that will cross and intersect with others in your life.” Edward’s exercises for learning how to tune in to these potentialities draw on simple analogies, such as the Weather Patterns Exercise: notice when your sunny mood changes to “partly sunny” or “cloudy,” and track what environments and people cause these changes. With an understanding of psychic self-defense, Edward says, one can prepare for a psychic vampire attack by someone needy who sucks the psychic energy out of you. Edward’s many followers and others seeking spiritual harmony will be eager to experiment with the exercises outlined here. (Oct.)
Library Journal
Considered one of the top ten psychics in the world today, television star Edward (After Life: Answers from the Other Side) adds a self-help book to his accomplishments. He includes sage advice such as "In order to move forward, we need to understand the past," and "A person has to truly want to make the change before it can begin to happen." As you can see, much of the book reads like many other self-help titles, but this one comes with an unusual twist—his belief that we all have psychic ability that can be tapped into for help from our "Spirit Guides." To assist us in contacting the psychic side of our natures, Edward adds many exercises including meditation and visualization. He has a folksy, "one of the boys" charm, which comes across in his writing. VERDICT Unfortunately, this book has little to offer as a self-help title, and Edward's advice on developing psychic intuition is murky. However, this should be popular with the millions of readers fascinated by psychics, so large libraries will probably want it.—Mary E. Jones, Los Angeles P.L., CA

    Highly Recommended!!

I have read all of John Edwards books and I love them. I think he is great! He is very personable and funny. I went to see him at what I still call LBC (now called Wells Fargo Center). It was fantastic!! He did over 2 hours. If you ever get a chance to see him live it is a real treat! This book is for anyone who believes in energy, personal intuition and developing those skills among other things. It isnt something to glance over or rush through. It is a book that makes you think, take notes and work at. It is a really good book and I highly recommend it. Check it out.

    A Highly Recommended Read!

Infinite Quest is a wonderfully inspiring, humorous and informative read. John is an honest, credible psychic medium. Having read all of John's books, I was not disappointed in this new quest. He has shared many personal stories of his own development with successful results. It was an intoxicating read that I had to consume in one sitting. I will reread it many times in the future and I recommend it to anyone interested in learning about their own psychic intuition and further development. I have put into practice many of John's suggestions with wonderfully positive results. I have also recommended this book and John's previous stories to many.

    Great Book

I am familiar with John Edward and find his book interesting and practical. I have found him to be credible, and a man of honor and integrity. Just watch out for some web sites on some of his recommended reading. I got ripped off of 50.00 - I am not happy aout that.

    Highly Recommended

I recommend this book to anyone looking for their own personal spiritual connection. John Edward, is a very no non-sense type of writer with great insight. His teachings are easy to follow and if you are willing to help yourself follow the direction he gives, you will grow to have a stronger self awareness and a better understanding of why we are here.

    Thank you,

Funny and so truthful. This book says it all, everyone has their opinions we're only human. The inner Monster or ego does and should always be controlled wherever we are. I feel that by controlling this not only can make yourself more available to the 5-C, but helpful in your every day life situations, such as with family or work. Thank you for taking the time and truthfulness from within, by helping us to understand and to be more conscience of our own guidance.
    Thanks, SW

    Valuable points overall

I enjoy Johns work This book has some content that will be familiar to you if youve read his other books - at times repetitive and a bit over- promotional for his psychic training site, but overall a sound book with useful information and perspective gleaned from years of professional work. As someone who does this kind of work as well, I was a bit put off by the repeated admonitions that most people will not be professional readers. Thats a given, BUT SOME of those reading are or will become professional. I realize he must be bombarded by wannabes. But not everyone who does new age work is expecting to read his book to become "rich and famous psychic."

Worth the time-no fluff, just real stuff!

John Edward is obviously more concerned with the "Greater Good", than what others think about what he is doing. John writes, like he speaks, straight from the hip and doesn't care if you like it, or dispute it, or even believe it! Quite frankly, he is a breath of fresh air! Honest and open dialogue, even if you don't want to hear what he is saying, you know it just "feels" right!

John Edward books are highly recommended. A Must Read!!!!!

I enjoyed reading Infinite Quest. There always seems to be a message just for me in Johns books. I know in my heart there is more, and I find comfort in his writings. If you are a searcher you will find answers and comfort in reading this book.

    A waste of time

Usually I enjoy John Edward's books, but this was a waste of time. Every thing he talks about gets reiterated repeatedly. This book could have been condensed to easily half its length. I was extremely disappointed. My intuitive sense says this was all about selling the appealing idea of improving your intuition, while not offering much in the way of "goods". There are many other books out there that deliver a meaningful message and do help you take charge of your life. I suggest you skip this one.

    Bookssss

*note* this story began on the book "dead on the island". This is a continuation of it.
    **********
Owch. My side hurts. Ive gotta go to the stream to wash it and somehow clean it. I have absolutely no bandages, and the weapons are still stuck in my side. I dont have the strength to pull them out. But if i fix myself up, i still stand a good chance. The problem is, im small and probably dont have sponsors. So that maxes out my chances of getting a little help from my mentor. But Ill show them im strong. Im gonna take out the weapons right now! Alright, here we go....."Ahhhh!!!!!" Oh no. Why did i just do that? Now the remaining 6 will.... hey, whats this? A parachute? Yes! What is this? Wait.... i know this! Its ointment! Ahh... it feels so good on my side... i think its time to crash for the night. Hey look, a cave! Wow, thats perfect. And im pretty good at camoflauge, too. Good night!
    **************
    "Ahhhhh!!!!!"

"Did you hear that? Thats a childs scream, no doubt." Said Anno.
"It does sound like her, but-"
"Lets go hunt her!" interupted Anno.
"Aw, c'mon," said Dare. "Let someone else get her"
    Silence.
    "Anno?"
"You still want her for an ally, dont you? Its so obvious ,Dare! If you dont want to be allied with me, then i can give you a wound and make you go to her!" boomed Anno.
    ***********
To be continued on the book "goodnight ipad"

    I Also Recommend:

John Edward is a complete fraud

The author practices a form of carnival sideshow fortune telling called cold reading, where the "psychic" talks to the subject just enough to find out what he wants to hear, and then tells them that. He's not even very good at it, and often has to send confederates into his audience to glean information for his readings. It's puzzling how he expects such a marginal skill to help anyone take charge of their life.
