Overview

Something sinister has befallen eastern Florida's Meridian Cove in the wake of several unusually active hurricane seasons. An unexplainable rash of suicides and disappearances have swept over the once idyllic town, like the immense hurricane that is set to ravage the coastline in mere days. A bizarre series of events heralding the the impending storm confront police chief Kevin Handley with a mystery so sinister, so profoundly evil, the likes of which has never before been seen by mankind.

Through fate, Handley is joined in the battle against the forces of darkness by five strangers; some of whom may be harboring secrets as dark as the evil brought forth by the storm.

The battle lines have been drawn between the forces of good and evil, between faith and submission, between life and death... The creatures of our worst nightmares have found us and could be hiding within our friends, our neighbors, our loved ones...

They could be within all of us right now.

Who will survive the onslaught, and who will be INHABITED?

"Richard cuts to the chase and keeps cutting. I hate comparing authors, but saying he reminds me of Richard Laymon at his best is high praise considering three shelves of one of my bookcase's are reserved for Laymon's work. A storm, demons and tight writing make for a must read…"

I found the story to be refreshing in a market overly filled with vampires and the emerging love of zombies. It had a consistent storyline and a decent plot. I wouldn't be adverse to reading something else by this author.

I need a human rp, preferably not battle. I will choose one, or we could start one together.~Emma
