Overview

Although a year has passed, not a day goes by without Meggie thinking of Inkheart, the book whose characters became real. But for Dustfinger, the fire-eater brought into being from words, the need to return to the tale has become desperate. When he finds a crooked storyteller with the ability to read him back, Dustfinger leaves behind his young apprentice Farid and plunges into the medieval world of his past. Distraught, Farid goes in search of Meggie, and before long, both are caught inside the book, too. But the story is threatening to evolve in ways neither of them could ever have imagined.

for one thing i am very mad that the book didnt look the same in the slipcase that is shown in the picture but instead when i got the book i it was better. they made the book veryancient wich is very cool and they pute a fire elf on the fromnt all in silver and the slippcase is exactly the same that on the picture so dont worry about that lol but the book definatly outstanding lol i definatly recomend this to any one. and recomend you get this eddition because you wont be sorry you did.

I love all of Ms. Funke's books but Inkspell is my favorite. It's so great I couldn't stop reading it. It's everything anyone who loves reading would want in a book and Dustfinger!! How could such a thing happen to him! I hope more than anything Ms. Funke would finish her third ink book soon! Even though it leaves you hangging a bit YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK!!!!

Brilliant, excellent, awesome, tense, gripping, remarkable...far too many words that can describe this sequal to one of my all-time favorite novels. Frau Funke has done it again, working magic with her stories, absolutely wonderful magic. The audiobook, which is read by none other than Brendan Fraser, is absolutely outstanding. He's a wonderful reader with a voice that enchants like no other. Cornelia Funke has become one of my all-time favorite authors with her beautiful stories of both darkness and light. Read it. Enjoy it. Enchanting, brilliant, and wonderfully thick, 'Inkspell' will have you on the edge-of-your-seat no matter how many times you've read it. The third book, 'Inkdawn', is well-worth the wait!
