    Yep

    I have mixed emotions about the book. Finally, I met some colorful characters that didn't totally resemble the characters from the other six books I read. I enjoyed every minute of Johnny and Buddy's story, I was intrigued by Leslie's tale of prostitution, and wondered what in the hell Duke had in his pants to make these girls so stupid. But I don't understand why Spence is so eztra angry (would've enjoyed his back story), why Johnny never used what he taught Buddy as protection, and how submissive Gloria became. Either way, this book gave an intersting spin on how hood life is for young kids who have no other means to make it. P.S. I love the toilet mishap.

    No Holding Back

    This book was good, it didn't hold anything back. It told the story of young guys doing wrong to support their family. This book told the truth about how young girls get turned out to the streets.

    ALRIGHT

    This book was alright, I expected more. It seem as though this was a book of his that I already read. It was a repeat with different characters. This book showed how teens have to take care of their families and will do anything to get money, even if killing someone is required.

    Enlightning

    This book gave alot of real insight on growing up in the street where the only thing you learn is that money is everything and the only way to receive it is through stealing and treachery. I think young "hustlers" should read this and reflect on their life to avoid the same end.

    I love the way Donald Goines made everything seem like you are right there in the story It feels as if you are back in the city (being that i moved away from it) I recomend any one of his great books they tell it like it is
