Sue Jackson is is Professor of Lifelong Learning and Gender at Birkbeck, University of London, and Director of Birkbeck Institute for Lifelong Learning. She has published widely in the field of lifelong learning, and her recent book with Penny Burke, published by Routledge, Reconceptualising Lifelong Learning: feminist interventions (Routledge 2007), has been nominated for an award for outstanding literature in adult education.
