Innovationship: Innovation Driven by Relationship
We are used to believing that the key ingredients for successful innovation are two: financial capital and technological capital. In reality, to succeed and stand out, value must be sought elsewhere. For example, in the relational capital of those who lead and manage innovation. Here, according to the authors, lies the secret ingredient capable of accelerating, making more effective and efficient all the typical phases of the process, from concept generation to its development and transformation into new products and services. But leveraging the wealth of contacts that entrepreneurs, founders and managers have is easier said than done. It takes strategy and clear ideas, as well as replicable and structured models and frameworks. The book provides readers with an in-depth analysis of what management research has revealed about the interconnections between relational capital and innovation processes. Starting with key concepts, taxonomies, and existing models, authors delve into the analysis of a variety of cases, experiences, and perspectives of well-known protagonists of successful innovation processes in which relational capital has played a key role.
