Editorial Reviews

School Library Journal - School Library Journal
Emphatically not a book for beginners, Innovative Sewing will provide inspiration and some smart technical tips to those who have reached a level of sophistication that frees them from slavish copying of the pattern directions. The ability to recognize when one can safely innovate is a must to successful use of this book, but for those who can, there are ideas on doing almost everything better and faster. The appendix of mail-order sources is a nice addition. Anyone ready to abandon the I-made-it-myself look for a one-of-a-kind flare should enjoy this guide.
