I will be honest I love Lauren Dane's Federation Series so when I had to the chance to read an advance of Insatiable I jumped on it. Insatiable is book one of the Phantom Corps. It is related to the Ms. Dane's popular Federation Series. The Hero is Daniel Haws (whom readers will recognize as Abie Haws brother from the best selling book Relentless). Daniel is tough, ruggadly handsome and not of a ranked family. He is in charge of the covert military group Phantam Corps. His latest mission retrieve information and the one woman who may hold the key for Victory Carina. I loved Carina. She is strong and sassy my kind of girl. She has to be to capture Daniel's attention. The story takes off at a fast pace and doesn't let up. I was entranced from begining to end and stayed up late to finish the book in one sitting. Ms. Dane's action sequences as well as suspense in the book are written subperbly. The character inner action is top rate and hotter than heck. This is a fantastic summer read and I suggest to anyone looking for a spicy romance. Trust me pick up this book you will not be sorry.

Dane knocks another one out of this world with another wonderful addition to her Federation Series. It's not just the cover that knocks your socks off! Heartache, sorrow, hope and loads of non-stop action, keep you on the edge of your seat.

Her father Ciro Fardelle, the Verses Imperial Supreme Commander arranges for his daughter Carina to marry one of his as evil monsters. Her mother Esta is willing to die to see her beloved daughter not pawned to any of these malevolent thugs as she had been when she was fourteen. She grabs some information chips to give to her daughter and abets Carina's escape. The Federation learns that the daughter of their enemy is looking for asylum and has information they can use to perhaps prevent what looks inevitable a nasty war. Phantom Corps covert leader Daniel Haws mounts the rescue knowing that the Supreme Commander will be coming after them with a vengeance. However, neither he nor his natural enemy Carina expected to fall in love while on the run. Although in the Federation universe with ties to Daniel's Relentless sister Abbie, Insatiable widens the Dane realm by focusing on the Phantom Corps. The story line is fast-paced and loaded with action as the irresistible force meets the unmovable object when two enemies from different life stations fall into heated love with her father fuming in pursuit. This is quite a sizzler. Harriet Klausner
