    Favorite Teaching Tool

I use this book as a teaching reference and tool in ballet class. My students love it so much, some of them went out and bought their own copy. Clear and concise, this book offers an anatomical look at ballet technique using a vernacular that is accessible to dancers with no background in A&P. Excellent.

great for dancers of all ages

As a dancer turned physical therapy student, I read this book to further myself in the kinesiology of dance. However, I discovered that it was so useful in explaning the anatomy of how a dancer should move and use their body as well as the underlying meaning of how ballet is taught and what is meant by corrections given by teachers. I wonderful book for any dancer, teacher, or anyone relating to dancers
