I didn't like the book. Didn't finish the book. I got tired of Ken talking about how great he was. He was great. But he didn't have to tell me so in every paragraph.

The Lion's Den was one of the original fight teams in MMA. I always thought the name "Lion's Den" was the coolest name for a fight team. I picked this book up with low expectations and was surprised to find it an interesting read. Ken Shamrock's popularity has gone downhill over the years, but this book gets you to look inside his life and root for his success. Very good book.

Ken's Book provides exellent details about training, diet, and techniques. A full and complete look at the Lions Den regimen of training. I really enjoyed the biography of Ken's Life.

I read his book and all I can say is that he is too high on himself. I've been doing this thing for years before Ken Shamrock came along. If anyone is ever in Vancouver look me up at the Main Street Boxing Gym.

I bought this book in late February and I enjoyed it very much. It has a great biography in the first half of the book and a training section of submission moves, dieting, and exercises.
