Meet the Author

Ken Marschall is the world's foremost painter of the Titanic. His interest in the liner dates from his teenage years, and since then he has depicted the Titanic in dozens of highly accurate paintings. His work has appeared on the cover of Time and National Geographic as well as in many books. Also a matte painter for Hollywood movies, Mr. Marschall was a historical consultant to James Cameron for the film Titanic.

Hugh Brewster is a Canadian editor and writer. He has collaborated with Ken Marschall on such projects as Exploring the Titanic and On Board the Titanic. He is also the author of Anastasia's Album, the story of the youngest daughter of the last tsar of Russia.

    Awesome

    This book is oversized and packed with real facts and photos not to mention all the greatr illustrations of what te inside must of looked like. Its the best book on the subject that I have ever sceen.

    i thought this boook was good but i mainly just looked at the pictures, really it shows you what the great liner iside looked like.

    Great children's book with a great history lesson!

    I bought this book for my seven year old son who became interested in learning more about the Titanic. The illustrations and the way the book was written were perfect for his age and older. The book gave just enough detail and history. This book would also be great for a teaching tool in a classroom!

    Titanic

    I bought this book for one of my student's birthday presents. From the second he opened it, he couldn't put it down. The pictures were captivating, the writing was on level (third grade) and it was a topic he really enjoyed.
