Meet the Author

Nick Rider's first memory of European travel is of eating a crêpe at a stand in Brittany when he was six years old. Since then he has explored many parts of the continent, following interests from art and battlefields to Catalan wines. He also has a Ph.D in Spanish history, and has written extensively on Spain, France, Mexico and other countries.
