    Inspiring for anyone, not just football fans.

    The media would have us believe that the professional football is only about big salaries and big egos.

    In reality the NFL is filled with individuals who defy the typical stereotypes of football players. They are caring, intelligent and high integrity men, committed not only to excellence in their profession, but to giving back to their families and communities.

    Insightful Player looks beyond the media hype. Author Chrissy Carew has created a collection of profiles that is both moving and eye-opening. Her passion for sharing their stories is evident throughout the book.

    The stories in Insightful Player offer a glimpse at the lives and backgrounds of the profiled players, who often overcame difficult childhoods, incredible hardships and sometimes physical barriers before reaching the NFL. The players’ words are authentic and touching as they share the lessons they’ve learned as a result of their challenges, and the values that guide their lives.

    Even if you aren’t a football fan, these players’ stories will inspire and uplift you. Share it with everyone you love.

    Highly recommended -- you must check it out!

    Insightful Player is a terrific, inspiring book that is perfect for kids, teachers, parents, coaches and anyone looking to be inspired. It is a great collection of stories from current and former NFL players-- my favorite story is Rodger Staubach's. The stories warm your heart and the way Carew puts them together makes this a real page turner.
