Overview

Inspire U is an interactive book of stories, situations and exercises. Be prepared to be empowered, humored and inspired.

Excerpt: "One of the most important things to recover in life is you. We tend to give away major parts of ourselves to the wrong people, the most stressful jobs, bad decisions and other self defeating situations; however, we have the power to get it all back in a blink of an eye. The first and most important step is to first decide that you want your power back, and then take the first step.

Each step does not have to be a major one, but a step nonetheless. We may fall or step backwards in this unchartered zone, but again, recovery is the key to moving forward.

In any situation where change is required, there are many recoveries being made, remember, you are making a change in your life and with change, there are obstacles and mistakes, but you don't stop-you keep moving on. Don't take the time to beat yourself up during this time, feeding negative feelings and energy is unproductive at this time, in fact it's unproductive at all times.

Starve the negative and feed what's positive-celebrate each small victory as a step in getting back what is yours."

Meet the Author

This book follows many years of ministerial and spiritual studying. Dr. Salima N'Dulu began her spiritual studies in the traditional churches. The Episcopal Church was her first introduction to religion. During Dr. N'Dulu's life as an Episcopalian, she also attended Catholic School. This was the beginning of her open minded approach to religion in general.

Upon learning that there were other people that believed in God differently she developed a desire to learn more about various religions and spiritual outlooks. Once she experienced a variety of religions, she decided to eventually become formally educated in Religious Studies and Pastoral Counseling.

Dr. N'Dulu currently counsels and speaks to women's groups about self esteem, empowerment and spirituality.
